Introducing the 2020 Porsche Taycan
Design
The craftsmanship and design of the 2020 Taycan is nothing short of stunning. Four-point LED headlights make a bold first impression. Vertical air intakes extend down from the headlights to guide the air over the wheels to reduce turbulence and improve performance. Flush, automatically extending door handles add to the style of the Taycan while limiting wind noise.
There are two available roof designs to choose from. One roof is crafted from aluminum and is contoured down the middle. The second gives you a skyline view with the panoramic fixed glass roof. A single, seamless light strip along the three stage rear spoiler gives the Taycan a futuristic look.
The cabin is open, spacious, and designed specifically for the driver. The standard multifunction sport steering wheel or the available GT sport steering wheel with integrated mode switch gives you a truly dynamic driving experience. The rear trunk offers 12.9 cu. ft. of storage space which can be expanded when the rear seats are collapsed down. A smaller trunk space is also available at the front of the car and is the perfect size to store backpacks or briefcases.
Performance
With three available trims to choose from, you can select the one that meets your need for speed and acceleration. The base trim can zip from 0 to 60 in just 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 255 mph. For maximum power, choose the Turbo S which has 750 horsepower at its disposal to roar from 0 to 60 mph in only 2.6 seconds with a top speed of 161 mph. The sustained speed and power of the Taycan is due to the design of its two Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors and a 3.4 kWh performance battery.
